![]() J-DRain Turfcore is designed as a technically advanced drainage for synthetic fields..It consists of a heavy duty sheet cupaged under heat and pressure to form a high compression, high flow drainage core which is then cut into seperate sheets to allow for expansion and contraction and bonded to a layer of non-woven fabric. It is designed to enhance G-Max performance as well as allowing water to move quickly and effectively to the perimeter drains. The rolls are 8 1/2 feet wide and can be made to custom lengths to provide easier installation. ![]() J-DRain SWD-12 & MVP-12 provides a cost effective alternative to pipe and gravel under-drains when constructing synthetic turf playing fields. By replacing these under-drains, trench excavation costs are eliminated and the amount of gravel fill is greatly reduced. J-DRain MVP-12 is laid horizontally across the field at specified intervals (normally 10 to 15 ft.) and provides rapid drainage from the playing field (see below). ![]() Design Schemes: There are many design variables when preparing a lay-out for the various synthetic turf fields. The filter fabric is wrapped and bonded to the drainage core, preventing intrusion of the filter fabric into the flow channels during the backfilling process. Soil particles are held back by the filter fabric and water passes through to the drainage core allowing water to be collected and conveyed to the discharge point.
